Heather became a college advisor after working for 20 years in marketing and advertising for Nestle, Clorox and other consumer companies. Heather volunteered in 2008 at YES High School in Oakland with the original intent of becoming a high school teacher. After working with first generation students on their college applications, Heather saw college advising as a better way to utilize her project management and writing skills.
Heather has three sons, all graduates from Campolindo High School. Heather has volunteered extensively in the Moraga School District, as a Moraga School Board member and with the Moraga Education Foundation. An Oklahoma native, Heather earned her BFA in Advertising from SMU, her MBA from UCLA’s Anderson School and her college counseling credential at UCLA. When not working with students, Heather is running on the trails of Moraga with her dogs or riding her horses.
